Sports have always been a big part of my life. I started as a competitive tennis player before transitioning to swimming and running. With a professional background in Continuous Improvement, I naturally applied those principles to training. I first studied running form independently, then became a certified running coach with the Dutch national federation of athletics, and for ten years coached recreational runners at my local club.
In 2018, I took on the challenge of triathlon and quickly realized the importance of structured training and a support network. I completed my first IRONMAN in 2022, another long distance triathlon in 2023, and in 2024 I had my first-ever DNF, which taught me more than any race before.
Now, as a certified IRONMAN U Coach, I work with TriDot® to provide a complete coaching package that goes beyond just training plans. AI handles the data and calculations, and I bring the human side—offering personalized training, guidance, and support to help athletes navigate their triathlon journey. Whether you're a beginner or already have experience with triathlon, I can help you train smarter, refine technique, and stay motivated to finally reach your full potential.
